1979 ford front wheel settings

1979 ford front wheel settings
Hello Everyone. I am currently working on a 1979 F-250 camper special 2wd regular cab long box. I noticed last year that the front wheel are not set in the wheel wells the same depth on each side. is this normal? I have measured from inside of rotor to each axle pivot point and they are the same. the only modification I have done is switching from the stock coil spring to a 1991 f-150 spring for a softer ride. but that being said this problem existed before that. any help here would be greatly appreciated. thanks
