Rough Country Speedometer Calibrator

Anyone running 35" or larger tires using the Rough Country or Hypertech? Thinking about buying the Rough Country $139 compared to $229 for the Hypertech. Any issues, how easy was the dash cluster to remove. Any regrets?

I’ve read hypertech makes it for rough country. Can not confirm.
When I get 37’s I will buy the rough country

Why not just run forescan and change the tire size

From what I've found here FORSCAN is not 100% reliable with tires larger than 35's. The reviews I've found on the Hypertech and Rough Country made me choose the RC speedometer calibrator. Plan on installing this weekend since i'm off by 7mph.

We've got the Hypertech units in stock if anyone is interested. We don't carry Rough Country.

They do. Same part number as 2019s (730125). I emailed their tech support and got the affirmative reply back.

I have tried all options with forescan to calibrate for my 37”s. Never worked. Planned to get the hyper tech but was slow.

this thread and learning of the lower prices rough country sealed the deal - ordered!

I can confirm the Rough Country calibrator works. I was off by as much as 7mph but that is corrected and for nearly $100 bucks cheaper

Make sure and cover your steering column with painter's tape. My instructions said to use a towel to cover it up but I found it just got in the way and I decided I'd just "be careful".... after I got everything buttened up, I noticed my column had several scratches. Stupid me.

Can you give me a part number for my 2017 F350 6.7 SWD 4WD truck, and 295/65/R20 tires? How hard is it to install/program?

A dealer quoted the Big Country installed ant $339. I am considering, since I don't want to screw this up!
