DP-Tuner is good especially if you rent the infinity unit to datalog. I decided to install a Hydra unit to try other tuners. Right now, trying to make it work with Gearhead. Jelibuilt was a mistake. Thankfully it was only $80. Pedal seems twitchy and there is shuddering at certain RPMs. He suggested changing pretty much every sensor and maybe the 2 oil pumps without really wanting to do testing. Tried to schedule a time to talk but he never called me so if Gearhead can't do it, I think I will go back to DP-Tuner which I already have.
I recently listed a used Infinity in the classifieds If anyone is interested in running this type of monitor.
Nice, gonna be a minute, between what i have spent recently and still need to install, going to ponder a bit.
was going to rebuild my turbo this weekend, but had a funny crunch in the front end, my right outer ball joint is loose, so going to replace both of the outers and the track bar is bent ( previous owner escapades)
I will keep that in mind the next time, plan to have the ole girl long enough for there to be a next time! ,
Hay for the record the trac bar is a joy to install!
I used to struggle with that too. Then I figured out the truck has POWER STEERING and if you turn the wheels to the lock, it’ll push the axle over so you can drop that 2nd bolt in really easy.
I thought I started a tips, tricks and hacks thread once upon a time?

we used heavy duty straps and pulled it over, then the floor jack to bring it up , worked like a champ

Thats how I did it too (many times) until I figured out the EASY way!! I’ve done a bunch of 4wd swaps over the years and had front axle install down to ‘before lunch’. We could pull a 2wd truck in first thing in the AM and drive it to lunch with D50/D60 front axle.
100%. No drilling required. No measuring. No math. No engineering. Just swap the parts over! Coil spring swap is a little more work, but still no measuring, etc.
