Glove box

Hi all, I know there have been people that have fashioned their own glove box out of sheet metal, but does anyone have a template for the glove box? I haven't been able to find one online. Mine is gone and because I live in germany, i don't think it'd be worth it to buy one and have it shipped here. I have a 1977 F250 2wd Ranger trim.

Thanks everyone for answering, but I require the actual template with measurements. I've seen that thread on how to make one, but I do NOT have the old glove box to trace otherwise I would have done that. As for the Mac's site..... it costs $17 and shipping to Germany is $71 !!! and then with the import tax of said glove box, makes buying one not worth it for me. Thanks again everyone....just not exactly what I'm looking for.

So you need some one to take an old glove box trace is onto some card stock paper and then mail that to you? Or what if someone traced a glove box in card stock paper and then wrote each measruement out on to it and then took a quality pic and posted it here? Would that work?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/3...-liners-2.html . Here is another thread from the site that I remembered. I have a liner in my extra cab that I can take out and send you the design if you can't find it anywhere else. It will take a few days, but if you need it I'll do it for you.
Mark.

If someone traced and wrote the measurements down with some pics, i think that'd work. Hell, i think if someone took the pics from the old post mentioned earlier and just added the measurements, that'd work as well. I'd greatly appreciate it, but if it's going to be a hassle, please don't waste your time. Thanks for the offer!

I appreciate the offer. Sounds like that'd be a PITA. I really don't want anyone to go to a lot of trouble for this. I'm going to see if 77&79 can hook me up with some measurements. Thanks though

Mark-guiver sounds like you have a glove box handier than me, go for it. I do not have a spare box on the shelf, but I have one in my parts truck that can be taken out. I can to the same thing and just add the measurements to the other thread pic. Hang in there Mr Germany someone will hook you up.

this image was referenced in another post here...it's low-res, but if you download the image and zoom in you can make out the measurements...

Thanks dlburch, when I zoom in there are still a few of the numbers that are too blurry to make out. I MIGHT be able to figure them out. Looks to be a self-made glove box and not an original shape one. Not that that's a big deal, just an observation.
