Good price?
I am currently looking at purchasing a 90 f-150 XLT 4X4, regular cab short box. It has 5.0l motor, 5spd. It had new tires put on it in the begining of the year along with new front shocks, battery and transfer case seal. The truck has 98000 miles on it was origonally form texas and brought to canada in 2001. the guy isa asking $7500(can) is this a good price or is it high?

ok lets try again ! I think you can get a better deal . Shop around, look at the Auto Trader.In the end the choice is yours, if this is THE TRUCK you have been looking for go for it Have fun

I recently bought my 1988 F150 extended cab, v8, 5.0 litre 302, with canopy, trailer package, and only 109,000 km (about 65,000 miles) on it, for $5000 Canadian. I think I got a pretty good deal, but either way, $7500 for your higher mileage truck sounds a bit high to me.

I guess the real question is what it's overal condition and appearance? If it's been a garage queen and driven like a car on paved roads and looks as good as most do at 40K it's easily worth $5,000 US (that about what 7,500 Can comes to right?). If its scratched, faded, a little rust and rode hard it can be less then half that even with the new parts and tires.
