At the very least, it looks leveled, which could be just as bad. Lots of mods to that truck. I would be way more concerned about the injectors being replaced than anything else. That's the big mystery, in my opinion. Not many trucks get that. Maybe there was a failure in the fuel system due to contaminated fuel.
My opinion is the guy had issues with his diesel and said I'm done with it and moved on. It is fixed and still under factory warranty, so if you like it and it is priced well for your region, get it. I have had lots of coil spring SD's and know of countless that friends have and own. I have never personally seen a death wobble problem, so that issue doesn't concern me with current SD trucks.
Yes, they are pricing it in new truck territory. I think their retail price of $82k is bs. I would say that truck stickered at no more than $73-74k new. I might see if I can find the window sticker.
Edit: Found it, $74,590 MSRP. It looks like someone added a lift, maybe some reservoir shocks and fender flares. Its tough to know when buying used, was it traded because of issues, or to get into a 2020.
Retail price of 82k is referring to brand new maybe? Itys used. Its a year old. Someone bailed. Its too expensive.
Don't worry about the SS being replaced. Everyone is doing that. I just did it on my 19 Lariat with 11,000 miles.
Injectors at 3,000 miles?
You get much of a deep freeze there In N.C.? I wouldn't expect the door latch freeze to happen there.
For 62 grand you can get a new truck.
I keep coming back to this truck on my search. I would appreciate any more opinions. Would the lift and tires cause dealer not to warranty any potential suspension issues? What would a fair price be? Thank you
See post #11 and #12. In another month when you see the same truck still for sale, come back to this thread and see post #11 and #12 again. You can find a better truck for way cheaper and just make it look like that one.
