Wow! Hope this is the beginning of a new move toward a Suburban Destroyer!

Well the Hummer went electric, lets hope Ford doesn't do the same thing.

Exciting and +1, I sure hope they don't ruin it by trying to go smaller and/or electrifying it. Although if they did go electric, lets hope for something like the Triton H. I'd prefer a new PSD personally though.

I cant believe they would make another monster vehicle like what we are used to nor would it look near as good, even as a current SD looks. Im fairly sure it will be some not so attractive electric SUV for the moms. As they did with the current Mustang, they will desecrate the Excursion name.

On the suspension, very cool. My wallet was cringing as I watched.

So there is like $6k worth of suspension being installed. Steering box looks like it had a major leak as the pitman arm was soaked. They reused the ubolts, I thought they were torque to yield one and done?

If they follow the same delivery schedule as the Bronco we'll see it in 2040...

It's probably not going to be 1/10th the utilitarian vehicle we have. I'm betting on a posh mall-crawler tennis mom-mobile with all the creature comforts and a near-six-figure price tag.

That's what they've done with the Suburban. I grew up in Suburbans and Tahoes, and they've turned them into luxury cars. Thanks but no thanks. Likewise we were all thrilled to hear the Blazer was making a comeback... until we saw it. Nobody hears Blazer and thinks of the S10 Blazer; they think of the K5.

I'm holding on to my Ex until they pry it out of my hands.

Amen! I told my five year old that it will be his truck one day and he was all about it! The exhaust sound makes him sleep great after long days of fishing...you don’t get that with a weenie engine or electric crap.

I have been seriously thinking about F-450s and 5th wheels but when it comes down to it unless you are full timing and have the funds. I am going to keep the Ex going, heck, 10-15K for a new Asheville engine is sure a lot cheaper than a $100K truck.

Now IF they came out with a new 6.7L Excursion I might look at it.

Do your own rebuild with better components for less than $10k

That is worse case scenario. Didn't I hear that a 6.4L or 6.7L costs $24,000 for a replacement?

Over my dead body! There's no way I'd ever pay that much for a motor
