Sync 3 Bluetooth problems

My phone will not stay hooked up. Sync will constantly kick it off. Tried everything-master reset of sync, deleting my phone from sync, deleting sync from my phone, updating sync and updating my phone. The sync screen is very delayed to touch as well. Has anyone has this issue and if so what’s the fix?!?

Also, APIM problems are a well known issue by most if not all Ford dealers.

Question, is your vehicle still under the factory bumper to bumper warranty?

Do you use Apple CarPlay?

If so or not, I noticed that before I had my APIM replaced and when I used Apple CarPlay, the touch screen would work flawlessly but whenever I switched back to the SYNC interface, all of the problems you mentioned and then some would pop up.

I’m not an Android Auto user so I can’t tell you if this will work just as well as Apple CarPlay.

Sometimes a soft reboot or Master reset will temporarily fix the SYNC problems but in very short time, and I’m talking less than 5 minutes, the problems will come back.

If you’re under warranty, the dealer will actually have to see the problems you’re having before they’ll order a new APIM.
