I am the owner of Battle Born Brakes. I am working with a manufacturer to make a large batch of original style boosters. There were several variations, but three main types that each came in single or dual diaphragm. I will be getting the dual diaphragm models and also be producing master cylinders that look exactly like a factory replacement but internally they will have a larger bore size. This is still a good while out- I don't want to promise any time line.
I have the same booster / master on my F250 that Dwirth posted a picture of. It rocks. It gives a huge improvement in braking feel and I have around 3,000 miles on it now. The only downside is that it is a little expensive and takes up a lot of real estate. It does not work with tall valve covers
dwirth - thanks for the update! Excited for you to get her back on the road. Keep us posted.
JacobJ - thank you for hopping in the thread and chiming in. I'm definitely intrigued by this set-up versus the hyrdoboost, since this looks much simpler and cheaper than the latter. I'll be sure to reach out to you as I get closer to purchase time. Still figuring out whether to get this done before or after my 5.8 roller swap to confirm fitment as you mentioned.
Random thought: I know ford390hashog mentioned back in April it was easy to install the 2011+ F150 booster intoto these trucks. Would your bracket and hardware kit facilitate that conversion, or is it only for the '99-'04 style SD boosters?
Well I took the ol girl on her maiden voyage last weekend. Still don’t have a bed on it and I was running without a windshield. Got the windshield in yesterday tho. The pedal is a little more squishy than I was expecting but I know the brakes need bled one more time.
I must say tho that the brakes work awesome with jacobj conversion. I don’t have my 35s on yet so will have to give another update later.

As far as the 2011+ F150 boosters go, not the brackets I make won't work for that. Ford made a lot of changes between years and models so my brackets only worth with 99-04 boosters.
Bought Jacob's set up. Brakes don't work right, brake guy says booster is bad. Jacob can not be reached and has not returned a message supposedly in awhile. Save your money go elsewhere.

You messaged me through the website on 11/29/25 at 8:09 PM (west coast time)
I responded 8:52 PM the same (Saturday) night asking for your order number and what the issue is
You posted this at 8:59 PM the same day
Funny how you respond today after I posted. Yes I tried again today. Low and behold. How about a return ticket for the booster, now that you are talking to me.
and I never got a response thru Gmail, nevermind found it buried in the spam folder.

Sounds like you might owe the man a public apology due to email operator error. He’s never been anything but fair and responsive with me and has a pretty sterling reputation on this site. Sometimes it is best to hang back and exhaust all of your communication options before trashing someone.
Indeed I do and did, Great guy. Just wanted to leave this here so you you guys know it's been taken care of. IDK what crawled up my butt, I was just frustrated and lashed out. My bad, I apologize. Oh, and my problem was a defective brand new booster.
