Looking to prevent as much corrosion as possible to my recently purchased F100. It’s has very little frame rust right now but I will be driving it occasionally here in West Michigan during the winters. Any suggestions on which type of undercoating to use?
If you can get the frame reasonably clean by pressure washing and wire brushing, POR 15 would most likely work best. Stay away from the spray on rubberized stuff unless you are putting it on top of sandblasted and primed metal. If you use POR 15 be sure and wear a respirator the fumes are killer.

Just to add to Crop Duster comments, if decide to go the POR 15 route suggest purchase a container of 'solvent' for cleaning brushes, paint guns, and personal cleanup, if not then my experience has been it will stay until it wears off, POR 15 offers the solvent but local hardware probly cheaper.?
Interested in other members' input, I have followed other restoration enthusiasts who have taken their vehicles to paint shop where the frame was pressure wash and cleaned then they applied 2-3 coats of epoxy paint? The issue I had w/ POR 15 was that it tends to peel and most likely due to poor prep on my part?
