Breaks
1994 7.3 IDI Ambulance, when press break it is a little bit soft and has long path. Is it normal or should be hard and short path of the pedal? Break pads are ok.

I am preparing for registration (as we call it here in Macedonia), and need to check it before I do that. Ask that because I have few vehicles and of course every has different brakes.

Bleeding is definitely the first step. May also be a small leak someplace, so check all the lines.
These trucks also have some issues with the brake booster that can cause a sinking pedal.

I've never seen a Booster cause excessive pedal travel unless it wasn't adjusted right in the first place or a rod was snapped, but I often see fluid leak from the back of the Master Cylinder cause this issue.
Still any leaks at the wheel cylinders or lines or air in the system causes Mushy Brake.
Rear Brakes seem to be the most neglected.

Yep for sure as they are mostly neglected....and self adjusters don't work when they get rusted.

Had this exact issue on my 91, thought it was the booster but adjusted the rear brakes after bleeding everything anyways and it fixed it right up.
