Acceleration problems

My 03, f-250 7.3L has given up due to, what I believe is, not accelerating properly. Once I get the truck going the moment it hit 2,000 rpm it doesn’t wanna accelerate right anymore no matter how much pressure I put on the gas. What is going on with it so I can fix it?

Check for excessive exhaust back pressure. Disintegrated catalytic converter possibly. Drill a hole before the cat and read the pressure.
