Going to grab the mazda from the 95 today. Would the 95 4.9 300 2x4 5 speed ecu plug into the 96 4.9 300 2x4 now 5 speed. And would I need the 95 driveshaft if so will it fit?

No ECU in a 1996 is OBD II, 1995 ECU will not work.

Driveshaft will fit if your wheelbase is the same.

Almost done with the swap the only thing that's got me stumped is the speed sensor. How do I keep that working with the m5r2? Also the neutral safety switch. How do I get that wired up properly in order to work? Do I just leave it in the neutral position? Again all these plugs and sensors are coming from the automatic and going to the m5r2.
