no heat

I have a 1994 Ranger that has no heat. The air conditioning and fan both work great. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Does the truck come up to normal temperature? Do the heater hoses get hot?

According to the temp. guage, the truck comes up to normal temperature. I don't know about the heater hoses. In fact, I'm not sure which hoses are the heater hoses. From where to where do they run, and what is the approx. hose diameter of these hoses? I'll check them when I drive home from work today.

Thanks!!
Paul

They are about 1-1.5" in diameter and they run up to the firewall on the passengers side of the engine compartment. Be careful, they may be HOT, check them after 15 minutes of driving.

There are generally 2 heater hoses that run from the engine compartment, through the firewall and into the heater core. They are usually about 3/4"-1" in diameter or so. Should be toward the passenger's side.
