Part Number Question

I'm chasing an electrical issue in my 2000 F350 RCLB and I think I have it narrowed down to the GEM being the culprit. I'm trying to order either a reman or new unit altogether and I've found some online that have the exact same part number except for the the last to characters which are letters. The ones that are on the GEM out of my truck are DM, a lot of the other ones I've found have had all kinds of letters on them. My question is, does it matter if I order a module that the part number differs in these last two characters?

If you are comfortable with posting your VIN, I'll see if I can pull the correct Ford part number for the GEM that is specific to your particular truck. However, I make no promises due to the age of the vehicle.
