Fuel filter price
At dealership for oil change.
parts department said they will sell me both fuel filter(hc3z9n184c) so I can change it my self at “wholesale” for $72.
he emphasized how important it is for OEM filters on 6.7s and that’s why they sell them cheap.
this a good price?

Paid 52 for the two filters needed to do the job.. On Amazon. Takes about a half hour to replace both

Napa "here" wanted $89/ea for fuel and air filters. I paid $50/ea on Amazon for genuine Motorcraft parts.

Several videos on here show you how to do it. Just make sure you get all 3 of the connections under the hood fastened securely before you prime your fuel pump; not getting one of them secure will cause a PFFFT sound and then you'll have diesel sprayed all over your engine bay.

I highly recommend buying from www.dieselfiltersonline.com. I've used them for several years for a lot of maintenance stuff. Some of the best prices, fast shipping. I now get all my filters from there (fuel, air, cabin, and bulk oil) along with the Motorcraft fuel additive.

To throw another wrinkle into this, not all Motorcraft parts on Amazon are genuine. There was a video posted on the front page of FTE awhile back. IIRC, the seller of these filters is one of the good ones though.
