Ford Camera option
I looking to trade my 2012 F350 for 2020 F350 Diesel to pull my 5th wheel trailer. I was told that the Ford camera options that includes an auxiliary camera for the trailer only displays that camera while in reverse. I would like to use that camera like a rear view mirror while traveling at high way speeds. Is there a way to hack the software to view that camera while driving. Also, Is there a way to hack the software to make the forward camera function like a dash camera? Also will the Ford TPMS sync up with 3rd party units like Valor or is it a Ford only option?

Look at this thread, I am not sure if it works with the 2020 models.

Thanks for your replies. I think I will use my existing aux camera. I was hoping to eliminate dash board clutter by using/hacking Fords software. I can't see spending another $400+ to get something like those solutions. Maybe someday Ford will include people in their design review that actually use trucks for what they were intended for :-)
