Has anybody done this? I just ordered new upper an lower hinges from LMC, I took a peek inside the doors and from what I can see the hinges look like they are rivited??? When i ordered the hinges there was no option for new bolts/hardware looking for some guidance if anybody has done this.
Doors should be screwed to hinges with a large Phillips head screw and a special lock washer. Screws and washers available, don't know what someone did before you owned this F-1 ?????

I get that they are supposed to be bolted to the cab.....but the side of the hinge that is attached to the door is what I am talking about. Should they be bolted on the door side as well? Mine look rivited, Will investigate more this weekend..
A possibility to refasten the door part of the hinge would be to thread the hinge and use hurricane bolts with Locktite in lieu of rivets. No?
Some people call them sidewalk bolts.
I disagree with putting the hinges back on with Philips head unless you are doing an strict restoration. I have always upgraded mine to a allen head bolt that looks the same. I also beef up the door post triangles with nuts of same thread welded to back.As for the door side i have had both riveted and bolted doors on my trucks. What i noticed is the riveted ones are solid as the day installed but the bolted ones i beefed up. Im not sure if its a year or model difference why they're different.
