My journey with my truck has been and up and down battle, I got frustrated with it last year and parked it. About to get back at it.
When I bought it there was a 302 with what I was told was a C4, ended up being a FMX trans. This is my first old Ford. Within two months the engine lost oil pressure and the trans started slipping, I was told both had been rebuilt, live and learn. It now has a fresh 351 Windsor with an actual C4. DJM dream beams and lowering kit in rear. Still need to notch the frame.
The truck needs cab corners, some floor patch work where the PO patched with fiberglass and the outer floor supports need fixed. It has new cab mounts and rockers on it. The bed floor is toast, I temporally put a wood floor over the rusted bed to make it look better, just a temp fix until I can replace the floor or bed. My brother and I have done a lot of the work with my friend Brandon and my cousin Justin's help along the way. My biggest obstacle is money. I'm sure I'm not alone there
When I take it out I get a lot of thumbs up and guys in dodge rams wanting to race.
Yep, a buddy and myself did the conversion and I documented it on YouTube. Here's a couple of pictures before and after buffing the paint. The paint now looks pretty good in the sun. I hope the pictures are not to large.

Looks cool!! I was torn between the swap and dream beams when I did mine. Might still do it but I want a lower mileage vic and will use the drive train as well. The patina is very cool and it polished out very nice.
Thanks Jason, my donor car was a 2005 Merc Grand Marquis with 46,000 miles. Swapped in the front suspension, engine, trans and rear end. We kept the F100 frame because my floor wasn't that bad. Replaced both floor pans and front body mounts and was good. I also did not want to cut into the bed floor or shorten the bed, it's a long bed.

Hi Pat,
The same plan I have and down the road as the coyote engines become more affordable...I hope slap that in it.
I just ordered new center floor supports, the idiot PO fiber-glassed the ends on them.
