The kit that came with the gauge cluster included one temp sensor, I had to order the other one. I was informed that the old sensors were not compatible thereby the reason that I had to install the new ones. I have that problem solved but now the gas gauge registers full no matter what and I presume that I have to use the new regulator that came with the gauge kit. The problem is that the original regulator to measure the amount of gas is about 3 1/2 Inches in diameter and the one that came with the gauges is about 2 3/4 in diameter. The new one will fall into the gas tank. I am wondering if you or anyone has suggestions as to how to mount the device on the original tank.

Seems to me that with a piece of 1/4" aluminum plate and a couple of hole saws (do the large one first) you could whip out an adapter pretty easy using the gaskets as a guide.
