PATS issue after replacing PCM
Hello. I have a 2012 E-250 that I've purchased a PCM for that was paired to my VIN. Will not try and start, security light starts solid, the flashes 2 and 3 times. The company I bought PCM through sent instructions for pairing the key to PCM, saying it's PATS type A. I'll try and include the instructions they gave.

The E-Series was PATS 4 for '08 '09 only. You have to do a parameter reset so you need to call someone with a programmer.
I believe they're wrong about the 45 min programming procedure on PATS 4 anyway. I've been a locksmith for 26 years and as far as I know the only Ford products with the on board 45 min programming procedure are PATS 1.
