U-Joint problems common?
Dropped my truck off at the dealer tonight for a failed AC system, the shielding recall , a front right hub click and from what I thought something in the rear brakes were squeaking. When I went to park the service guy walked over and said ahh, u joints going south. Trucks a 2019 and has 9k miles. Any other cases like that out there?

The service writer? Or was it a technician? Service writers are generally sales people. U-joints are mechanical and can fail early. Not common, but it can happen. They exhibit a double squeak as the joint goes through the speed up/slow down in long/short phase in the yoke. The pitch changes as the suspension deflects since this changes the driveshaft angle. You can hear this if you know what you're listening for. If the noise is constant, then it's probably a brake squeak. That is pretty normal. It's just the pad vibrating. Sometimes you can rid yourself of brake squeak with a hard brake apply to clean up the pad and rotor. It comes back, though.
