replaceing rear main seal
I've done this job before and I would say around $200-300.Its relatively an easy job, but there is alot of components to remove..i.e.the trans/transfer case,crossmember and sometimes the exhaust.Depending on which engine/trans you have. If your mechanically inclined and have access to tools you could do the job yourself and save alot of cash. Windsor

with 5.0/5.8 or 7.5L and auto trans---6.8-8.3 hrs.
with 5.0/5.8 or 7.5L and manual trans---6.3-7.8 hrs.
Labor times for Diesel are similar. Multiply your shop's labor rate by the labor time to get the labor cost.
