I think he did the KOEO test. I also think the KOER is the only test that gives cylinder count so I would be incorrect if he did KOEO.

No you are right, first test was "key on engine off",, DAMN I hate abbreviations!!!

Do you think most of his symptoms line up to be the ECT? Sure seems suspect to me from some of his descriptions of what it's doing. Sandy

Well I have my suspicions, after I checked the codes I checked the coolant level and I was dangerously low for some reason, I believe that could be what's tripping the sensor code

post 23, ECT test link, do you know how to use a digital volt ohm multimeter (DVOM)

Question for y'all, shouldn't my engine start up and run still if it is just an engine coolant temp sensor issue?
