Hoping to get a headcount here at FTE of how many fridge 4x4’s we have operational among us! Please join in and tell us what you have, if it’s factory or converted, pics, and technical details (F100/F250/F350 etc).
I will start with my 1960 F100 4x4 long bed. 292 two barrel 4wd from the factory.
My current project is 1960 F250 4x4 from the factory with 292 2barrel. This one is getting a 11:1 302 with 289 racing heads. 4 speed. Keeping all the original mounting points and wiring in tact so it could go back to stock if desired.
Orig 60 f100. Had a 223 six will be getting a 390 shortly. This is a non custom cab model.
Now we are even stephen. Do you know if yours is conversion or factory? The data plate on the inside of the glovebox door will reveal that once decoded (see example above).
It's definitely factory... is your red one lifted at all?, Mine is sitting on LT30'sx9 because I kept the stock rims. Your truck looks like it sits a bit higher.

I think the previous owner put 1
ton springs in front and helper springs in rear.
Did anyone else's 3/4 ton come from the factory with 17" split rims? I still have mine with 7.50 x 17 bias ply mud tires stored in a barn. Can't find any tire shops in town that will work on them anymore, so I upgraded to 16" radials.

The stock wheels are long gone. It has aftermarket Mojock wheels. Maybe because of the tire shop woes.
Before and after, my 59 when I bought it, two years later after lowering it about 6”. Started as an F100 not sure what you would call it now. Replaced both axles, 79 Dana 44 in front 93 F350 LS rear 4.10. 7.3 diesel, ZF5 trans and I think 208 transfer case from 88 F250.
