This is the third time I've proofread the book. I'm still finding some minor errors. MS Word can't seem to make up its mind on if it prefers "doorknob" or "door ****". If you spot something, please let me know.
Hi Jim,
I am enjoying reading this. In the first couple of days I thought you needed more character background, especially Spencer. But as I read on it works well.
There are some improper words like "new" for what I believe should be "next" And near the end of Day 22, as Greg is speaking about the truck stop - "but i'll leave that up the Jung-ho."
Thank you for the story.
Keep it up
Larry

I think I found where "new" was used when you thought it should be "next". This was at the raid on the grocery store in Laramie, right?
Here is the paragraph:“I’m guessing twenty-five on the grocery store side. The new ones came out of the store. The front gate has five and the back gate has two,” he said.
After rereading it, I think it could be clarified. From the writer's perspective I know what's going on. The person reading it can't read my mind. I'm still working on getting the right amount of details on "paper". Some areas don't have enough and some areas have way too much.
LOL! After writing all the above, I kept looking for other instances and I found a definite error where "next" should have been used. By that time I had already changed two other instances of "new" to something else. The obvious error was a paragraph or two before I announced the creation of Team Peter.
It's kind of funny. I started searching for "new" and came across instances of "knew" also. Man, did I ever use that word a lot.
I found the second instance you pointed out. That was easier to find and a definite mistake. Thank you!!!

No, I think I understood that instance. I went back and found it, day 22 - Greg is speaking at dinner "Over the new couple of days,"
Not trying to be too critical, just that you asked for editors.

Yes, that was the one I found too and fixed. I am grateful for any feedback!
Another miss was in the Day 25-26 section. Page 14, the last big paragraph at the bottom. Sentence says "I won’t very into Laramie...". Should have said "I won't go far into Laramie..."
I still can't figure out why Word isn't putting footer page numbers at the bottom. It doesn't like the Print to PDF method apparently.
