I filled up @ $1.57/gal down here in central TX this week. I went and got an EFS card so I can get fuel at truck stops and pay what truckers are paying. You guys need to get with the program already. You are depressing me me with all this high fuel price talk.
You live in the Lone Star State. I live in the Empire State of King Andy. Only problem I see for you no or low state tax, 2nd Amendment supporting states is all our libtards are moving to your States. But that ain't on me.
Less than 2 miles from my house: diesel at $1.99. Back about 12 years ago it was nearly $5.00 gal.
Despite that it's still cheaper to run my gasoline buggy (Honda Passport).
It wasn't that long ago it was about the same cost to drive my gas car as the truck but now diesel is 60 cents higher than gas the truck doesn't get used as much.
This weekend I'm going to the rez and buy some cheap fuel. I'll post a pic up. Happy Easter guys.
EDIT 4/11/20
Took a ride to the reservation after work. $1.879 a gallon. Saved $15 on 18.8 gallons from the price of $2.70 at Delta Sonic. Looks like I'll be driving out there more now.
The Big Indian Shop.

Awesome price. Sure they will get lots of business with a price like that.

The Seneca Indian Nation Reservation has never been privy to NYS's laws or taxes. I haven't been out there in years. I now will continue to go out there for fuel. From work, it's 23 miles. From home, probably half that. In the last month, I've fueled five times. That would be almost an 80 dollar savings for me. Hopefully it keeps dropping but feel bad for the boys employed in the oil industries though.
I pulled in for the petrol, I didn't notice any green dispensing handles - so guess they can afford it (free).
My diesel use is seasonal (RV season); I last topped off its' tank 10/21/19. Approaching 2 years and it's clock still reads under 5000 miles.
With the virus it likely won't see much use this coming summer.
