he came home on leave for christmas and we took his highschool truck he built, slapped it on a 86 F250 frame thats been SD axle swapped.
7.3 IDI and a ZF5.
rebuilt pump, injectors, and factory turbo.
hope to have it done, test driven and shipped to VA before he pulls into port.
atleast he's safe through todays B.S.

Yeah Navy!!! I did that years ago, went aboard a WWII Destroyer, back in 63.
Served 3 years on her as a Radioman.
Spent time with the Kitty Hawk and Independence. All those ships are gone now.

I read your whole thread over on OB. Quite a project, and Grandpa made him
work for the truck too. You raised a good son.
My dad served on the U.S.S. Eisenhower during Desert Shield and I even got to spend a few days aboard her on a Tiger Cruise. Glad your kid is serving. I never even went to the Navy recruiter, I'm just a dirty Army leg.
