240/300 P/S bracket
I bought a p/s box, pump with hoses, pulley and bracket recently and have a question about fitment. The Ford # is D8AC-3A732-A1A.
Can anyone tell me if this is the correct bracket for a 240/300, or,is it for a v8?

This is
not for a 240/300! This is a 1978 LTD 302/351M/400 ID engineering number for the P/S adjusting bracket for the 1978 and later Ford C-II P/S pump.
There were no 240's in cars after 1972, no car came w/a 300. What did the swapped parts come from?

I was under the impression that it is for a ford I-6. The person I bought it from said it was a left-over from a pick-up project he did.
Would you mind providing me the correct #'s, please??

What year truck did the parts come from? 1965/66 P/S pump is different than 1967/77. 1978/79 P/S pump is different aqain.
1975 and later Econolines use a different pump.

Parts are from a 1978 LTD, the Ford C-II P/S pump was used on myriad other 1978 and later vehicles.
The pulley does not have a Ford ID number on it.
What year/vehicle are you installing the P/S in?

Here’s a pic of the one I used from a 77’. Spacers are 7/16” thick and the bolts are 7/16” x 1-1/4” in the block.

The NOS bracket I bought (C7AZ-3a732-A, per NumberDummy) does not look like this. It is a 1 piece bracket.
Would the spacer size be the same??
