Got the Carli leveling kit (3.5”) installed this morning. Ordered 3” rear blocks but think they’re going to be to big so dropping down to 2”. Stock I had 1.75” rake, after leveling, I am .75” low in the rear. Trailer wasn’t very heavy but looked squatty. Need to hook to gooseneck and load a Jeep to see how it is before committing to a block height

Here’s a little heavier load showing a need for a little bit bigger block in the rear

Yeah I would get it up 1-1/2 inch or so and run some lower stabileloads.

I think I am gonna lift mine 1 inch up front and put some lower stabileloads on it as I read they reduce sag about 1 inch.

Heavy service front springs so 1/2 inch over stock and 295/65/20s. Trailer was at least 15,000 maybe more as the lumber was a little wet. I dont want to go much over 16,000 with this f250. This is before I lifted the trailer.

Cancelled the 3” block and going with a 1.5” instead. Pmf was awesome to work with and held off shipping, ordered lift thru Zane at top tier. Can’t say enough good things about them. Hopefully the block will be here by the end of next week.

Added the lift to the Trailer. Was anticipating 2-4”, ended up well over 6 I’m sure. Trailer now looks like it missed leg day but was able to lower the coupler down a hole and bought a ton of bed clearance. Also, I don’t think the Trailer tail will scrape anyone which will be great!

I’m 99% sure something was wrong with the lift too from etrailer. The upper perch was right, nothing else was. The ubolts were way to narrow and the top plate was to small as well. Only used the perch and nothing else in the kit. Reused the original stuff since it was still practically new

yes, ended up being around 6” or so. Basically just welded new spring perches on top of the axles and the springs sit on top of axles vs under them. In hindsight, I could’ve just welded on some 2” tube and new mounts to have a little more reasonable amount of lift. Oh well, looks level behind the truck and will do everything I need it to

I don't know if you've ever heard of them but, Torklift, a company that makes a ton of RV stuff, makes a Product called StableLoad - I've got them on my F-450, more for the truck camper. They may help with the tongue weight and get rid of that small bit of sag in the back. Just get the upper units - they're rubber blocks that make your overload springs make contact almost immediately, as soon as you place any load in the truck, instead of waiting until there's a significant drop in the truck. Here's a pick of one of mine (there's four of them) and the link to their page: They mount pretty easy!

In the pic, you see that just one edge is barely touching the overload leaf - smooth ride with no load. As soon as the camper touches down, the block is on the spring instead of waiting until the truck sinks 3.5"!

Air bags thats what I use to counter the squat and actually makes towing alot more enjoyable.

I’ve had airbags on several trucks and trying to avoid them on this one. Trying to do things a little different this time. Squat should be minimal with the block I’m hoping

Got the 1.5” block installed yesterday. Truck is just how I was hoping. We’re at 1.5” if rake. 42.5” front, and 44” in the rear. I think with the empty trailer, it’ll be perfectly level and then only a little sag when loaded.

I’ll get some pics soon
