Has anyone tried the Bak Revolver X4? I had the Bak Flip F1 on my 12 Raptor an for the most part liked it. Have soft roll up on my work rig and like some of the aspects on it but not keen on Velcro part. Thinking the X4 could be a good blend. Has anyone with the 6.75’ box attempted to load a ATV with it rolled up?
I have the X2, same thing but different finish on the cover. I've had it for 2 1/2 years and it still looks great. I can roll it up easily just walking along the side of the truck and it isn't so tall rolled up that I don't have a good view out the back window. It works well with my fifth wheel. I have a long bed so can't help with the ATV part.
I like mine. This is the 3rd truck I have put one on. Just a heads up, it gets a little bit of water in when it rains, nothing that worries me. I think it depends on how the truck is sitting when parked.
Tonneau factory outlet usually has the best deal. Morrie will work with you on price.
Had one on my Ram 2500 back in 2016, actually had 2 of them. First one replaced under warranty, second one did the same thing. While rolled up when hot out, the rubber seal on the side separated from the cover...
Did not bother as I traded truck in. Have not bought a bak since.
I had good luck with my las Bak but was a 2011 flip cover so things could have changed with the new style. The rubber seal on that 1 stuck to AL and the composite cover material not vinyl and gave over 6 years of trouble free operation. Thanks for the heads up.

Similar experiences. My cover is not even 2 years old yet. Both seals on each side of the cover now are loose on the bedrails. Its attached, but slides and almost every week I have to go re-adjust my seals. The Bak Box 2 is a joke and I'm on my 3rd one. They fall apart.
My guess is DC traffic and the 16k miles on my truck are too much for this Bak product to handle. I'm getting ready to call it in and see if I can't get a replacement cover soon. I'll never buy a Bak product again. I never had issues like this with my Retrax products on my other trucks.

The Revolver and the BakBox are the worst products they make. We sell MX4s like hot-cakes and hardly ever have an issue with them. Retrax makes a great cover and what we run on our F-250. They're all owned by the same company, Truck-Hero.

Gotcha. So you definitely don't want to lose any bed space. I think your best bet is going to be the Pace Edwards Switch-Blade. It's basically a retractable cover (similar to Retrax), but it's designed to be quickly and easily removed. After the intial installation, you can remove it in a couple minutes. It's available with a vinyl over aluminum construction or a solid aluminum. I'd recommend the solid aluminum if budget allows.
Thanks everyone, I will explore other options. Not ready to take a almost 1K Gamble on weather or not I will get one with issues. May go with another flip cover with updated tailgate seal since they are quick and easy to remove while leaving rails in place. With the plant shutdown I have plenty of time to decide before the truck gets here.
