Mounting spacers

1974 F250,
FE 360, C6 Auto
Factory A/C
Ok, I had taken everything apart to have the motor machined. I've gotten mostly everything pit back on till today. I bought a new A/C system and they sent a new bracket to mount the compressor, I put everything together, no problems with pulleys. The bracket didn't work. So they sent an adapter plate to mount to the factory York bracket. Now, the fan pully is hitting the AC bracket. Anyone have any ideas on the sizes of the spacers that go behind all the components? I've obviously done it wrong. Pics would be great if someone had that also. Mainly the AC bracket and PS bracket. I think I have the wrong sizes on them causing them to stick out and hit the pully.

Pics would also be great from your end so we can see just what you're dealing with.
And a description of what you're using too please. You said you bought all new, but does that mean replacement original stuff, or all aftermarket? Sounds like an aftermarket setup, but if so which one are you talking about.

I'm not familiar enough with any of them to help yet. But pics would be helpful I'm sure.

All the pulleys and brackets are OE. I cant remember where the spacers go exactly to ensure the pulleys line up correctly and have the spacing required to not interfere with anything else. That's where the question is based on the stock pulleys and spacers.

Ok. Can't help you directly then, since the brackets are (at least as I understand it) quite different between your '74 360 and my '79 400.
But my power steering did have a spacer, that I lost and then found, but that was awkward in lining up. Was basically about a 5/16" thick or so disc that mounted between the bracket and head.

My A/C compressor is the York type (now I see you have the same York and you said factory a/c in the first post. Sorry bout that) and sits on the top of everything, above the engine. I have four or five groove pulleys and everything gets it's own belt. Crazy busy up front there!
Hopefully someone who has the same setup as you will post up some pics of what's what.
