Need AC compressor mount bracket.
Hi All, going ahead with AC install in my 66 F-250, 240 six. 3 sheave balancer is on, I have the the 3 sheave water pump pully in my possession, and the custom kit for 65/66 slicks from Classic Auto Air is ordered and on the way. Last piece of the puzzle I need is the stock AC compressor mounting bracket for the 300 six from the early to mid 80's F-series. I don't know exact years or if bracket from an E series van will fit.

A/C mounting bracket
I used a bracket from a 75 1/2 ton 300. Took the waterpump and pulleys. The bracket was for a Ford compressor so I had to get a converison bracket from Vintage Air to the new style compressor. I had to get a steel 1/4" plate made to move the bracket down from the original four mounting holes in front of the fuel pump. I also had to install 2 Spal electric fans because with a 75 waterpump with two pulleys there isn't enough room for the regular fan. Used the old style hangon unit in the cab all works well. One other thing, The condensor in the front was installed on the inside of the radiator support to clear the hood opening stuff.

Fletch, thanks for the reply, delay getting back to you cause can't always get Wi Fi on the road. My AC kit is waiting for me in Bellingham WA and will convert it there, all but OEM mounting bracket which I will search for at junk yards coming down thru WA, OR and CA then mount compressor to finish the install and get it charged somewhere. My kit is from Classic Auto Air and they supply adaptor to OEM bracket. Thanks for your info, I appreciate it
