no timing indicator
I am looking for some help in further tunning my 400. I just go by ear, engine response and test drives with tickets to go with it.
some of my engine mods are: completly removed smog sys, msd 6A ignition, 48K v accel coil, performer 400 intake, performer 600 carb w/ man choke and 1" carb spacer to name a few.
I here a vacume gauge can help in setting timing. is this true? if so what #s do I shoot for and at what RPM.
would this also help in adjusting the vacume advance?
any input is welcome.
