Yes a sprayed in liner, like Rhino, is "sticky" and stuff does not move around. I personally like it as I hate things bouncing around in the bed of the truck. But yes, heavy items do not slide out. You could use a piece of plywood to make that issue go away, if needed.

I have the spray in rhino lining, and LOVE it. I had the dealer install it before I took it off the lot. Best option I picked

i have a line x liner and love it....I was being stupid and using a rotozip tool while holding what I was cutting on over the tailgate...I slipped right down on top of the linex and you can't even tell...I slid something across the top of it the other day that was very sharp and you can't see anything...very durable and no overspray.

I'm on my fourth truck with Linex. Never had a problem with any of the other 3, this one is only about 8 months old but I would never have a truck without it. I also have them spray my toolbox inside and out which keeps the stuff inside from moving around and getting aluminum oxide dust on everything. I've hauled several 2000 # loads of decroative river stone in mine, and unloaded it with a shovel, and it didn't even scratch the linex. It's worth the $350 -400.

HEY! I just had my bed sprayed today with Line X. Looks awesome, and i think its gonna hold up pretty damn good. the dealer was explaining why its supposedly better then Rhino. its b/c Rhino is applied low temp/low pressure and it tends to give a lot more under hot weather and abuse b/c its a softer compound. the Line X is high temp/ high pressure which gives it a rock solid texture. hopefully i'll be happy with my choice

I have had the chance to put both Rhino and Line-X to the test in work trucks. Line-X kicked Rhinos tail all over the place.. To me it looks better to. Not that Rhino is that bad. Most of the time it will last and hold up to a lot. More than most people could put it through. But when you get to extremes Line-x wins out..

I had the Rhino done two days after I toke delivery. They took out every bolt and drilled two drain holes in the front of the bed for me.
Month later had a battery tip over and spill in the bed. Didn't hurt the liner at all. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat

As for shooting over bed bolts and tie-downs that's just the laziness of the dealer doing the work, I drove out of State to get mine done because this guy had a better gun to shoot with and removed all bolts and such.

Just go and look at some different companies that do it and their final product before making your decision. One dealer could do a really good job and another a poor job using the same product.

Look into the warranty. Although both are warrantied Rhino had to be taken back to the original installer. Line-x could be taken to any dealers if repairs were needed.

Duallydude,

That quote of $450 sounds reasonable. I just had a shortbed sprayed over the rails for $425.

Hey, you can save 20$$ off just go on the line-x website, there is a coupon there you can print. Ive had two trucks done with line-x, great product, getting my truck done on Friday 405.00 otd. Also you can have them spray in between the tailgate and bed, this will protect that area when the tailgate is down.

I just ordered a Bedrug kit for my truck. It is custom formed to the bed and resembles indoor/outdoor carpeting. It is all rubber and will not absorb any water. The bottom also zips out for those extremly dirty or greasy loads. You can also pressure wash or hose it off

I have had Rhino in mine fo over two years and am very happy with it. It has held up well in these extreme Chicago weather conditions. It looks good too, but who cares, if you have a 4X4 the bed is too high to see into anyway.
