Front Tank Replacement - Electrical connection testing
I have a '94 F150 4.9L, Manual, XL, Reg cab, short bed.
So, as I previously mentioned in an earlier post, the PO (and original) removed the midship tank, but left the plumbing intact, fortunately. I want to test the electrical connections before I install a new tank to make sure I have power and to test the tank selector in the cab. Does anyone have a diagram of the plug so I know what's hot, ground, etc? I also need this to swap out the connector from the original to the newer style connector that came on my Motorcraft pump. Also, any advice on how to test this would be appreciated. I have a meter and a intermediate level understanding of automotive electronics.
Thanks in advance,
Nec
