I have a older Truck 9” with the breather bolt that goes through the rear brake splitter. I’ve looked everywhere and can’t seem to find one. I went to the pick and pull and took off several from newer F-150s, some may have had 8.8s in them but when I got home I found they won’t screw in. My axle’s hole is 7/16-20. Anybody know where I can get one? 7/16-20 Breather/Vent
Jim,
I saw one like this on google. I’m thinking it will still need a hose and vent cap. I wasn’t wanting to have $25 wrapped up in a lousy breather valve.
Models in the 60's didn't have a cap, just a rubber hose. Thats what is on my 66 Mustang, maybe a Mustang supplier has cheaper ones, not sure of the size?
Using the nomenclature on the one you sent I did another google search. I might have found what I’m looking for on a MOPAR site. I sent them a message asking for thread size.
