I have a 2017 F350 crew cab. I am chasing a rattle on the passenger side. I believe there is something loose in my B-pillar, but not 100% (could be a door, or the sunroof???). I have managed to remove the lower interior trim piece, and after removing the passenger assist handle, popped the upper panel loose, but I am having difficulty removing it completely. Is there a trick to getting it around the seat belt, without actually having to remove the seat belt? I have not gone so far as to investigate how to remove the seat belt. Is there a history of a passenger side rattle on the 2017 super duty crew cab? Am I chasing the correct source? I have not had the chance for a sit on the passenger side, for a drive, to narrow down the source. Was just hoping popping off the trim, something that was loose night be obvious. Just looking for some help, please.
I have only removed the lower B pillar trim, so no help there. I have had a consistent noise, not sure if a rattle would be the right description in my case, but its my drivers side B pillar area. I also have intermittent, but often, rattles from both front doors. Does not sound like metal, and seems to be from the front area of the doors, maybe near the mirrors. But who knows, it could be the dash. Anyway, unfortunately I think rattles are common on these trucks. Some people are more aware or sensitive to them. Good luck, and post up if you find the source.
