RIP KENNY ROGERS !

Kenny Rogers passed last evening with his family in attendance. Rest In Peace Kenny. You provided us with some great songs and memories ! He was 81 years young.

Sad indeed---R.I.P for certain.

I never saw Kenny perform live although when he was front man for the band First Edition they'd play this dinky club here in Columbus, OH--The Purple Jester. Once he knocked up Thelma Camacho she was replaced or let go---didn't want that scandal huh?

The rest is history as they say and its not necessary adding the rather stellar solo career he had. Vintage Kenny:

As a person who's music appreciation crosses many types, Kenny was able to cross a few bridges and it was more then Rock & Country

Kenny Rogers dying really worries me especially at the start of a pandemic. After all, he was the man to teach us all to know when to hold em, know when to fold em.

I saw him live in the late 70s...opening act was an up and coming comedian...Gallagher. He was diagnosed with Alzheimers about 10 years ago...something no one escapes. RIP...thanks for the memories.
