window vent shades

Good Morning,
Does any one know where I can get window vent shades for the 57 to 60 ford trucks? How about a used set? The places that had them in the catalogs say they are not available anymore. Early Ford Store and Sacramento Vintage parts and CJ Ford parts have none. Thank you

I gave up looking. Mac's had them in an old catalog but no longer available. Bummer.

I said a few more words than that. The chevy trucks still have all years covered. Seems like every thing I have wanted and waited for at the right time , I always got beat up on. Life , dont feel so bad now.

I thought they cost too much a few years a go but when I finally decided to get them they are gone. I do have a set that will fit a 70's truck, maybe I could do something to use them. I have thought about doing that for a couple years and thought that maybe actually telling someone about it would help me to remember to look into it! lol

What do you need to get started on the conversion? Do you have an original to use as a template?

No, I don't have an original. Was thinking maybe I could just bend and cut to fit. I believe the 70's trucks have wider windows so there is plenty of material there. But, I still haven't looked into yet.

If you want a pattern from my ‘60 let me know and can send you a cardboard cutout for size/shape

Well, that would be awesome, might eliminate some of the guess work!

Visor pictures

This is driver’s side but they look symmetrical. I can easily trace a template if these pics don’t suffice.

I've been wondering what a vent shade is.

Actually, I would call those sun visors. Vent shades mount on the top of the window opening as in this link.: https://www.carid.com/avs/in-channel...SABEgJm5fD_BwE

Thanks for all the time you took for the pics!

Hahaha lots of shade styles. Will the correct shade please stand up... I guess in my experience we technically call what I took pictures of is a “sun visor”. Sorry.
