stainless vent shades

I guess it depends on where we were raised to sun visors inside the car , or the ones above the windshield roof from the 30s to the 50s. The stainless ones were very popular when growing up and on alot of cars. You could smoke an it still went out side while in the rain and kept water from coming in when window was down alittle. I have them on my 63 truck and my 85 van. Guess it shows my age. ha ha Did not mean to confuse anyone.

It was my bad. Admittedly a newbie to forums and such. Does make an interesting thread nonetheless! Hope someone has a seller to share! I think those stainless pieces look nice on these classics.

I've had them on my 66, 78, 86 and 93. They are also nice to leave the window open a crack in the summer time so not to get that hot in there when parked all day. Maybe they will be made again someday for the '60!

These allow you to have the window down a touch when it is raining without it running down the wing window. Plus they look neat to some folks like me.
