302 V8 Performance??? Help

to get 250 RWHP (rear wheel) out of mine I did the following:
ported and polished the upper/lower intakes and the heads, pretty easy, summit sells a kit that works with a dremal tool, and the directions were pretty straight forward, that by seat of the pants did a big difference, but not as much as I wanted, then I purchased a throttle body spacer, helped with lower rpm power, then it was time for the K&N FIPK intake, that didn't do anything except make a cool sucking sound at high rpm's, after doing all of the intake work I had a lean condition that would cause popping out of the exhuast, annoyed me enough to get an adjustable fuel regulator and larger injectors, solved the popping and I got even more power especially at high rpms (high rpms to me is over 3500, I dont go more than 4500 due to the fact my truck has 118k miles...floating a valve spring is not a cool thing) Basically to get power out of a 5.0 its not hard, just plan out what you want to do and there is TONS of stuff that can be done, oh my 250 RWHP? Its a fact, I had the beast dyno'd this past weekend...hp peak at 4200 and 310 ft/pds of torque at 3500 rpm
