I suspect you won’t see any new factory deliveries until Q4 2020 earliest.

Quite a pickle we are all in!
Same thing here. I am replacing my 2006 F-150 with a F-350 short bed 6.7 lariat so trying to find a short bed f350 is the hard part

After much debate/research/test drives i am going with the 6.2l.
partly because one of the trucks i made an offer on has everything else we wanted and the 6.2
Another truck we put an offer on had the 7.3l, but dealer was not into negotiating as much.

I hope to finalize transaction in the next few days.

for what we need; haul truck camper, or 8000#airstream the 6.2 will be fine and i suspect pretty easy on fuel with the 10 speed. (Although very little data on this still?!).

In the end, i did not see a huge performance difference 6.2l vs 7.3 l and logic would dictate the 6.2l will be more efficient. There are also many, many 6.2l owners that are very pleased and are towing much more than we will.
I could have gone either way, but the 6.2l was more available in our area.

Stay tuned, hope to have pics in the next week.

Thx, bill

Yes, with the F350 the 6.2L with the 10-speed is the base model.

I think he meant that the 6.2l/10 speed is standard engine/trans on F350, any trim level

The other 2 are optional, on any trim level.

Yes, but you stated it much more clearly than I did!

Could Ford actually reopen their plant tomorrow? My guess is no...but this is the latest piece from Ford. Fingers crossed as I have an order that was 3 days away from production...and then they closed the plant.

That letter is dated 3/26/20. I'm pretty sure since then, Ford announced extended closure with no announced reopen date.

I pulled that document right off the KTP website...there is a notice from the union that no date has been set but that is not from Ford and I can only assume it is more of a battle between the Ford and the UAW. After Fords earnings report today on Q1 sales my guess is Ford wants to get back to building trucks fast, assuming it is safe for the workers.

As of now, KTP has no specific date to when production will resume. I'm pretty sure it will be sometime in May.
I know the Toyota plant in Ky. Is scheduled to resume production on May 4th. Whether or not that happens, and at what capacity, we'll have to wait and see.
All this mess sucks, I know we are all ready to get back to normal life.

News I read today states production won’t start back up until sometime in May. No actual date.

They also announced the smaller version of the new Bronco is being delayed until Sept and the larger version will be delayed till 2021.
