Measure it but I think that the axles will bolt to the springs front and rear.
The t/c crossmenber should also be the right width.
You will have to upgrade the steering sector. Seems like the '68 uses a parallel drag link sector like the '5X uses. Do a search and see, but straight axle people often use a Toyota 4x4 power steering sector. I do not know how big a tire it will turn.
You will have to fabricate a drag link to mate the sector and front axle.
I do not think a body lift will be necessary.
This is not going to be quick and easy but is do-able.
check out a ranger p/up extra cab chassis,frame widt.h close and the rear spring perches can be slid foword the 7 inches you need to match wheelbase. later models have 8.8 rear and advanced adapters has a kit{fairly cheap} to put in a 302.ride height with 30x9.50-15 about 4 inches higher than stock.did one with a friend about 5 years ago.remember ''anybody can restore a car,but it takes a real man to cut one up!'' if it;s not personalized than who wants it!!!
