Can anyone point me in the direction of online blueprints/plans for making wood shelving for work vans? I know I've seen them, but now, all I can find is stuff for Transits.
I don't anything like you're asking for exists, at least in my 10 years in on-line truck/van forums I've never seen anything like this. Shelves tend to be "custom" made by a user to suit their own needs, typically made from plywood for the vertical elements and some sort of space saving but stout spreaders for the horizontal elements.
I've seen dozens of for sale ads on Craigs List for metal shelves removed from vans, local DIY scrap yards may be a good source too.
The only thing Im after is the measurements of a vertical side panel, and process of attaching it to the van itself. Everything else will be customized. I'd like to premake some side panels, before I tear out the stuff thats already in the back, so I can do it quickly.
what year van are you wanting to install shelves into?
Depending on what you plan to stock in the shelving, these corrugated parts boxes may work for you. They come in many different sizes and are pretty sturdy if the shelving is designed to work with the boxes. https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail...B&gclsrc=aw.ds
I really dont see how it would matter, but its a 2000. I did go to pick and pull this morning and took some pics and measurements of some shelves I found, so I think Im good, but the more options the better I guess.
In an earlier post you said "The only thing Im after is the measurements of a vertical side panel, and process of attaching it to the van itself. Everything else will be customized. I'd like to premake some side panels, before I tear out the stuff thats already in the back, so I can do it quickly."
No. Those dimensions are easy enough. I just wanted to steal someones design a little. I found this at a junkyard today. I will use its design as a starting point.
Sheet metal screws and construction adhesive to attach to the walls/floor . I did one last summer with 2x2's and plywood. Still fine. Took me and another guy 3hours

I removed some rear shelving from my van so I could gain more space behind the rear seat. I saved the shelving to use for a pattern if I add something different. i doubt that the measurements would match your van being a newer generation van
