1988 E 250 Clubwaggon. My tour van
My questions will be in regards to putting a 95 f150's 302 roller engine in my 88 e250 camper van? I was originally just considering throttle body injection for the original 351. As Ill need to tarvel cross country. And I don't like changing jets. Although ive gotten good at it. But it has developed low oil pressure so im planning for a new engine.
Easier to build a modern fuel injected engine and adapt the harness?
Or
Easier to build a big old 429 clone using a clever and throttle body inject it?
That's a lot of questions in one. You probably would get the most help for the Performance Engines, Troubleshooting section. Why not pose your question(s) there?
Wow, even built up, I wouldn't go smaller to a 302 in an E250, especially if you plan on hills etc. like it appears you are. If anything, build up the 351. That's just my $0.02 though. I agree with pbsdaddy, the "Performance, Engines & Troubleshooting" section will help you out.
