So I recently purchased new moog wheel hubs with the 3yr warranty...
One of the hubs had a Blue line for the ABS and a regular hex bolt to secure it. The other had a black ABS line and a pentagon shaped bolt. WTF? is this pentagon shaped bolt? never seen that.
I really liked the fact that the ABS line was blue and indicated to me that it was real Moog. Is the other one a knockoff? I hope not, cuz i already put it on!!
I mean somebody decided they didn't want the hub any more and returned it but not before replacing the ABS sensor with something weird.
Well that's a FUBAR thing to do. It all looked brand new... even the sensor cord..
Well, I just purchased one of the grease fittings for the ABS hole, so this pentagon shaped screw is coming out one way or another... I'll just find the perfect size flathead screwdriver, jam it down in there and give her a go that way if I have to.
Use a socket meant for rounded bolt heads, weld a nut on that bolt head so you can wrench on it or buy an oversized hex bit and grind it into a pentagon bit.
I have a bunch of extra ABS sensors and regular hex head bolts that I can send you if you mess up the one that's on there now.
