default truck screen

Since having my oil changed at a Ford dealer in Albuquerque, my 2019 F450 KR screen up startup is the truck status screen. It has always been the digital speedometer screen before. How do I get it to default to the speedo screen now?

The buttons on the left hand side of your steering wheel will toggle you through the screen menus. I had a 2017 and now a 2019 and I still sometimes get mixed up when resetting my fuel mileage screen and trying to return to the digital speedo.

Thanks, but I know how to cycle through the screens and menus to get to the speedo screen. My question was "How do I get it to stay on that speedo screen through the shutoff and restart?"

It is not obvious to me unfortunately.

When you toggle all the way over to the left menu which is the “myview” screen, leave it on the speedo in that screen and not the truck info screen. My dad had this problem and figured that out on his F-150.

Good information. I've never had the problem that the OP does where it always reverts back to something you don't want. But now I know what to do if it ever does happen.

While it was a great idea to try, unfortunately, it did not work. I changed the view in MY VIEW to the digital speedometer. When I restarted the truck, it went back to the truck status screen. I'm getting a little frustrated, but with all this virus stuff going on, the truck default screen is not high on my list of frustrations.

Thanks for trying to help.

Crap. Here is the last thing I know of to try that works when the trailer screen keeps defaulting. Go to your trailer screen and make sure you select no active trailer.

Some of these electronic features are pretty nifty when they're working properly. But they often become a source of frustration when they start acting goofy.
I've come a long way from my first vehicle - 1969 Chevy C-10 with 250 6 cylinder, 3 on the tree, manual steering & brakes.

I should of started with that as that is the main problem but I misread what screen your truck was defaulting to. Lol.

Glad it all worked out.
