What are some upgrades that i can get that are relativley cheap but will bost my horse power?? when i take my truck out in the mud, it tends to bog down pretty easily and i find mysef constantly shifting between first and second, and i dont like devoting my time to shifting, i like both hands on the wheel when i am in "questionable" territory. anything that is fairly inexpensive and is legal would be greatly appreciated. p.s. i dont race my truck, i dont need things that will make it take off faster, i need things that will give it more horse power to keep from killing the engine in gumbo mud. thanks!
I wasn't aware that China was a county. I thought it was a country. Maybe while your fixing that typo you could post some pictures of your truck. And take your wife out to dinner so she'll let you buy that Diablo chip !!!! : ) (just kidding with you)

It's been said and done I garauntee it! I'm still looking for someone with a digital camera. GRRRR! FYI, I should have a Diablo Chip, MAC Air Intake, and Flowmaster Exhaust before X-mas. Honestly speaking, I'm sure a 16.4 16.6 is my average quarter time. With those 3 mods, I'll betcha I'll have a mid to high 15 goin on!
You have to get the differential if your changing your gears. Otherwise your one tire will just sit and spin. Fun at stoplights but it sucks when you get stuck. Take a look at James' gallery to see pictures of his truck stuck in the mud. Limited slip, and some truck tires, would have helped here.
Also, the 4.10 gears are being a pain in my neck. I can't say this about all the trucks, but mine now need the drive shaft high-speed-balanced. Since i've lowered my gears, cruising on the highway causes my drive shaft to spin faster, even though my tires are spinning the same speed. Apparently, my driveshaft is not high-speed balanced enough to allow it to spin that fast without getting a vibration. Now I get a very violent vibration when I approach 90mph on the highway (not that I drive like this all the time), but it's something you may or may not have to do after the gear change.
