Oil Filter Stand Pipe Broken
So I went to change the oil on my new to me 6.4 and to my surprise when I removed the oil cap the filter was broke in multiple pieces and the stand pipe was broke in half. Looked like the oil hadn’t been changed in a good while (made a good amount of oil)
2 of the plastic tabs that hold the spring and little bypass plunger are nowhere to be seen, should I be worried? Not sure what to check from here

I would go to the dealer, get replacement parts needed and see what happens, hopefully the missing parts are in the pan, I don't know what the oil path out of the filter looks like(where it goes), maybe someone that has more information will chime in, use only Ford filters or cap on these beasts, could be someone used aftermarket crap and tried using the wrong filter with the wrong cap and that's why it got fubar'd.
